Off the Clock Webinar: California Consumer Privacy Act

The NFALA In-House Counsel/Partner Networks proudly present: “Off the Clock,” a brand-new webinar series aimed to provide advice to in-house counsel that is relevant to their corporate legal work.

Every other month, members of the NFALA Partners Network will present on hot button issues and be available for general questions and discussion.

Kicking off this series will be Anna Mercado Clark, Esq., CIPP/E, speaking on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) on Wednesday, February 26th at noon EST/11AM CST/9AM PST. 

Anna Mercado Clark is a partner at Phillips Lytle LLP and is the leader of Phillips Lytle’s Data Security & Privacy and e-Discovery & Digital Forensics Teams. She focuses her practice on complex e-discovery and digital forensics, cybersecurity and data privacy, and complex litigation. Anna has been awarded the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) designation by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a preeminent certification for advanced concentration in European data protection laws, standards and practices.

Anna is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University. She is a member of her firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and spearheaded an award-winning diversity pipeline program. She is a founding member of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York, a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Diversity Champion Award Committee, and has been a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York’s trial reenactment team for over a decade. She is the recipient of the Honorable Denny Chin ’78 Fordham Law Alumni Award for Excellence in the Legal Profession in 2018, Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 17th Annual Women Worth Watching® Award and was named to the Lawyers of Color’s Inaugural Nation’s Best List in 2019, as well as New York Metro Super Lawyers® Rising Star, 2014-2019, among other awards. Anna currently serves as a member of NFALA's Advisory Board.
