NFALA'S INAUGURAL VIRTUAL WELLNESS YOGA CLASS

Pamela Palpallatoc, FBANC in-house counsel committee co-chair, transplant to FALSD, and PABA karaoke groupie, will teach NFALA’s inaugural virtual wellness yoga class for EVERY BODY, incorporating breath work, physical poses, mindfulness, meditation, and music, for an inclusive, accessible, practical, and brief respite, from the seemingly perpetual WFH hours. Poses have been vetted and approved by licensed physical therapists, for practice at a desk, without a mat, and without fancy yoga pants.

Pam first practiced yoga by playing the Nintendo Wii Fit video game. She found her way to in-person yoga classes, which helped heal chronic back pain and provides a method of self-healing.  Standing on the shoulders of two prior generations practicing meditation, Pam obtained mindfulness, spaceholder and instructor certifications including Yoga of 12 Step Recovery, Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 hours emphasizing Vinyasa (Love Story Yoga), Office Yoga, and Mental Health First Aid (Catholic Charities).  The most valuable component of her training involves mastering the mind-body connection. She currently serves as an Associate Attorney at Jackson Lewis, where she represents employers in workplace law matters, including preventative advice and counseling and mindfulness anti-bias, anti-racism training for workplaces. She is an inaugural fellow for Cal-APABA’s Leadership Education for Attorney Development Program.
