Filipino Martial Arts for the Modern Warrior

Freeda Yllana Lugo, Co-Founder/Head Instructor at Lugo Leadership Academy, has been training in multiple Martial Arts styles, including Tae Kwon Do and Filipino Martial Arts for 22 years, and practicing yoga and meditation for almost two decades. She aims to empower individuals to create and live the lives they dream of, to cultivate meaning and balance in our modern lives. She believes powerful leadership in our communities begins with strong individuals.  Freeda is a Litigator at Morgan, Franich, Fredkin, Siamas & Kays, LLP, where she specializes in Business and Intellectual Property Litigation.  She is also an artist, photographer, spoken word artist and speaker. She shares her joy of nature, meditation, tending to the spirit, goal setting, physical challenges, philosophy, and self-defense in her classes and workshops.  Freeda is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Certified Buti Yoga Instructor, a former FBANC Board Member and proud Pinay Powerhouse!

Wear comfortable clothing, shoes or no shoes, whatever feels best to move.  Create space and time to be present, and make sure to thank the tubig you bring!  If you have Eskrima sticks or training knives, feel free to bring them, but they are not necessary.  Families are welcome.
