Becky Gardner is a single mother, advocate, and an attorney licensed in Hawaii and New York State - with a Social Work degree from Cornell University & JD from the University of Hawaii School of Law, where she is an adjunct professor in legal writing.

During the pandemic, Becky lost her state job in Civil Rights Compliance – Language Access, as well as an election bid for a State House seat – but is rising from the ASHES of BURNOUT!  She has since launched two small businesses - VECTRESS FITNESS and POLICY MATTERS LLC – which enable her to balance her responsibilities as a mother and breadwinner, as well as pursue her passions in legal policy, and health & wellness.

Through VECTRESS FITNESS, Becky is leveraging her fitness-coach training and business experience as the former owner and Honolulu franchisee of “Fit4Mom” – a community offering maternal fitness and wellness programs across the country.  Through the lessons she learned by overcoming personal (and legal) challenges in her work, marriage, politics, white privilege and the patriarchy – Becky has developed a 30-Day program on BURNOUT RECOVERY & RESILIENCE called “DAY ONE” – a Jumanji-inspired mobile app featuring 8-minute evidence-backed High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts filmed all over beautiful Oahu, coupled with research-based strategies on how to overcome burnout and build resilience – something NFALA lawyers know all too well!

Join Becky on July 29, 2021 (9AM Hawaii/ 12PM Pacific/ 3PM East Coast) for a sneak capsule/preview of her program - which includes a HIIT work-out, Breathwork, and more tips, strategies, and inspiration to LAUNCH yourself, like a Phoenix - from the DARKNESS & ASHES OF BURNOUT – Stronger and More Resilient Than Ever!

Just bring water, your smiles, and enough space for a yoga mat.  You don’t even need shoes!!

Becky was on the Executive Committee of Pinay Powerhouse III – Hawaii and is so happy she found a tribe of Filipino lawyers in NFALA she can connect with.
