CALLING FOR NOMINATIONS FOR     

2026-2027 NFALA EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Executive Board Officer positions for the 2026-2027 upcoming term. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and passionate individuals to step into leadership roles and help guide our organization towards continued success.

The following positions on the 2026-2027 Board of Governors are subject to election by the General Membership:

• President-Elect
• Vice President for Programs & Operations
• Vice President for Membership
• Vice President for Communications
• Treasurer
• Secretary

NFALA calls for nominations for the above-listed positions. Only NFALA members who are eligible to vote in this year’s elections may submit nominations and/or qualify as a candidate. Self-nominations are permitted.

NOMINATION PETITION AND CANDIDATE INFORMATION FORMS 

The Nomination Form must be received by no later than Sunday, August 22, 2026 at 8:59 PM Pacific | 10:59 PM Central | 11:59 PM EST via email to president-elect@nfala.com.  You may also submit this via Google Forms.

The Candidate Information Form must be received by no later than Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 8:59 PM Pacific | 10:59 PM Central | 11:59 PM EST via email to president-elect@nfala.com.  You may also submit this via Google Forms.

CANDIDATE AND VOTING ELIGIBILITY

NFALA members in good standing whose membership dues are current by Saturday, August 15, 2026, are eligible to vote.

2026 NFALA Election Timetable

• Sunday, August 22, 2026: Nomination Petition Forms due; call for nominations closes
• Tuesday, September 1, 2026: Candidate Information Forms due
• Friday, September 4, 2026: Online ballots sent to NFALA eligible voting roster; voting begins
• Friday, September 25, 2026: Voting concludes
• Friday, October 2, 2026: Election results announced
