7th Annual Pinay Powerhouse Conference | March 22-24, 2024 | San Diego, CA In support of NFALA Affiliate Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego (FALSD), they are excited to host the upcoming 7th Annual Pinay Powerhouse Conference on March 22-24, 2024. This year’s conference theme is “Sun, Sand & Sampaguita.” Sampaguita is the national flower of the Philippines and means “promises,” from the phrase sump akita. Our theme honors the promises we make to our community and profession, as well as the promises we make to and keep for ourselves. The conference will feature prominent speakers on topics such as thriving in traditionally white male-dominated industries, important LGBTIA+ issues, and more. Additionally, we will be hosting a Friday evening welcome event, as well as other social events throughout the weekend that showcase some of our favorite San Diego spots. Hotel blocks are available at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive in downtown San Diego, conveniently located three miles away from the San Diego International Airport. Hotel blocks can be reserved here: For more information, including the conference schedule and to purchase tickets, please visit the Pinay Powerhouse website.
